Our hearts have been breaking as we watch the devastation of Hurricane Harvey unfold. While we were lucky to escape the majority of this storm's wrath, the after effects have started to reach us here in Dallas. Gasoline is in short supply and shipments have been delayed. For us, this means the August shipment, although it is well underway and you will be receiving your boxes soon.

Over the last week we have been brainstorming the best way for us to help in the aftermath of this horrible incident. According to the most recent reports from CNN, large parts of Texas still remain underwater, the death toll has reached 39 and oil refineries and pipelines are being closed and the entire city of Beaumont, TX (population of 118,000) has no running water. 

Then it hit us, our MerLady Family makes up a vast international network, reaching hundreds of thousands of mermaid lovers and beautiful souls all over the world. 

This is what we are going to do to help. If you are one of the many MerLadies and Gents that have been waiting for our subscriptions to come back, we ask that you donate that money to any of the reputable Hurricane Relief Efforts listed below instead. Whether it is $28.95 for a monthly box or you have been saving for a 6 month subscription, the victims of Hurricane Harvey need it the most.

We will also be stopping all of our online promotional ads and be using that money to promote Hurricane Harvey Relief efforts on Social Media platforms instead.
